Carrington Aged Care owns and runs four homes for the aged – The Mews, Hilltop, The Terrace and The Gables. The company was founded by John and Pat Gunn over twenty years ago. Together they acquired a sound knowledge of Aged Care and built up what is now a medium sized family business. The Carrington Aged Care Group has achieved an excellent reputation as a provider of superior service and luxurious accommodation.

Our commitment to Aged Care excellence is demonstrated by our ongoing industry developments. Current facilities meet the relevant accreditation and certification standards yet we continually strive to up-grade. The new luxury 60-bed high care facility in Camberwell and our extensions to the Preston high care facility - both these plans were developed in conjunction with studies of similar facilities (both locally and overseas) and specialized Aged Care architectural consultants.

To maintain standards, all staff members are handpicked for excellence. Our registered nurses and nursing assistants provide the highest qualified supervision and assistance. Ongoing training opportunities are made available to all staff (including nurse managers, clinicians, chefs and accountants).
